Brandon B.

Brandon is the general manager of Life Time Sport. A lifelong soccer player, he became a full-time goalkeeper at the age of 12, playing through high school and college, where his team won multiple IIAC Championships and made four appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Brandon was named IIAC Male Athlete of the Week in 2010. Since college, he has earned his USSF D coaching license and has been coaching all ages and positions for more than 10 years.

Nels oversees our soccer curriculum and leads classes. He has more than 20 years of experience coaching all levels, including high school and collegiate, and previously served as Minnesota Thunder Academy’s Junior Girls Director and coach of the 2005 Elite Clubs National League team.

Sara is a fifth-grade teacher with years of experience leading summer camps for kids. She grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she won two State Championships as part of her high school soccer team and went on to play in college at the University of Minnesota.

Jamari Brinson

Jamari B.

Jamari started playing soccer at the age of 8 through the Minneapolis Kickers association. He received a Division 1 soccer scholarship to the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay and obtained a bachelor's degree in business management. Jamari has been coaching soccer for two years and believes soccer is a global sport that brings all races and faces together.

Kyle Hunt

Kyle was a multi-sport athlete throughout his childhood in Minnesota. He loves the comradery and cohesion that is experienced through team sports like soccer. Kyle played soccer for Gustavus Adolphus College where he received a bachelor's degree in Physiology with a minor in Coaching. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is CPR Certified.

Katherine Horstmann

Katie is a kindergarten teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL). She loves teaching and soccer, and she is a former player for Holy Family Catholic High School and leagues at Iowa State University. Katherine is CPR- and first-aid certified and has received U.S. Soccer E and F coaching licenses.

Kaleb Moreau

Kaleb “Coach K” recently moved to Minnesota from New York City, where he spent more than 8 years coaching soccer from youth level through Division 3 college. He has a master’s degree in Sports Administration, and he is currently pursuing his license to teach physical education and health.

Emma is a multisport athlete who loves the physical and mental aspects of soccer. She enjoys coaching and connecting with other athletes over a shared passion. She previously played soccer for Minnetonka High School and in the Eden Prairie Premier League. And Emma also coached for the Ames Soccer Club in Ames, Iowa, where she attended Iowa State University.

Jeff has played soccer in Belarus and coached in both Texas and California. He believes self-improvement and personal development are life’s greatest pursuits, and he enjoys helping others improve their skills. Jeff has a U.S. Soccer B coaching license and Grassroots 4v4 coaching license. He also has state and regional goalkeeper diplomas and is a member of the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association.

Nick was a multisport athlete growing up, but he always enjoyed soccer the most. He enjoys sharing his passion for soccer with others and helping them become more well-rounded players. He played in high school at Wayzata and for Minnetonka United. And Nick was head coach for Minneapolis United u10­–12 Girls.

Zach played and coached at Winnebago High School as well as in college at Carroll University. He earned his bachelor’s degree there in Exercise Science and, as a coach for Life Time Sport, he looks forward to helping others learn to love soccer. He is CPR-certified and has earned a U.S. Soccer Grassroots 4v4 coaching license.

Rolando Recinos

Rolando R.

Rolando is passionate about soccer. He believes that helping kids find their motivation to improve their game both physically and mentally will ensure a positive future. Rolando has played soccer for 20 years, including 5 years playing professionally. He has received his Grassroots 4v4 coaching license and is adult- and pediatric-certified in CPR and AED by the American Red Cross.

Matt currently plays in the MASL and is a former collegiate player for Augsburg University. He believes soccer has the power to create lifelong relationships and incredible experiences for players at every age and skill level. For the past four years, Matt has worked in health and fitness for Life Time, and he looks forward to sharing his love of soccer at Life Time Sport.

Jorge has played soccer his entire life and believes being a student of “the beautiful game” has lifelong benefits for everyone. He’s excited to share his experience with others and help them grow as players. Jorge also hopes to teach them lessons that carry beyond soccer and into daily life. He previously has played soccer in Lakeville, and he both played and coached for Eagan Wave.

She played soccer through high school and in college at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and she has previously coached youth club soccer. Carly grew up playing soccer and basketball, running track and cross-country skiing. She played through high school and later for Augsburg College, and she currently coaches for Visitation High School. Carly enjoys helping people any way she can, both on and off the soccer field. Canyon has played soccer from age four through college, and he has coached ages 10–18 in Montana and Minnesota. Health, fitness and athletics have always been his passions, leading him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Coaching. He is NCCPT Personal Trainer Certified and has U.S. Soccer E and D coaching licenses.
